True Singaporeans speak an additional language apart from English and their mother-tongue - it's called the SINGLISH. It's a mixed between Singapore and English. "lah" or "leh" is commonly attached to the back of the sentence eg "Don't be like that" in Queen's English = "Don't like that lah" in Singlish; or "Come on lah". We also like to mix Malay, Indian or Mandarin words into our everyday conversations. Eg "I blanjah you" = "Its my treat" or "Pek Chek" = a local dialect term meaning exasperated. "Cool lah?"

Singapore is a great place to be, do, see, dance, eat, run, shop, relax, sweet, walk, listen, ... and some of places are just listed below

Shopping time according to some people is the following:
-- For branded stuff – Takashimaya and Ngee Ann City on Orchard road and Paragon opposite it. 2nd Floor @Hilton Hotel.
-- For reasonable deals – ISETAN at Scotts Road, Robinson’s at CentrePoint, Raffles City Shopping Centre (above City Hall MRT), also try CityLink that connects the MRT station to Suntec City and the Esplanade, Suntec City’s shopping Centre, Holland Village.
-- IT things: If you do not know what you are looking for go to Funan Centre – six floors of reputable electronics shops. If you really know what you want, you can go to Sim Lim Square – but be careful. The vendors at Sim Lim are ruthless and will just as easily rip you off as give you a bargain.
-- Photographic equipment: Max Photo, 72 Pagoda Street, Chinatown, Tel. 62267226.
