But it was fun. We just arrived in the Songkran Festival, or Water Festival, and it was kind of fun because it was 46 degres in the shade and people were all wet from top to bottom to endure the heat.
What the festival is about in Ao Nang close to Krabi is in reality one street with people on each side with giant bucket of water and cars / trucks / bicycles / ... in the middle trying to avoid the shower that people throw at you. It was refreshing and fun for kids.
